Provenance: Spain, possibly from the Castille-Leon region.
Dimensions: 33 ft. by 28 ft.

My academical Master's thesis in 2001:
​study and conservation theme: A 16th century hexagonal oak pulpit.

Attribution: Unknown.
Owner: Soares dos Reis National Museum, Porto, Portugal.
Dendrochronology has dated the carved oak panels for circa 1520 a.D.
The legend says that this pulpit was used by monge Saint Francis Xavier during his pilgrim trips in Goa, India.

Coordination in the rehabilitation of the artistic heritage in the area of Furniture, in the project “AvisArte”, in the Church on the Convent of St. Benedict of Avis, Évora, Alentejo, Portugal.
